Yesterday was an exciting day at the Technical University of Munich for our Open House! Our Chair of Ergonomics had a fantastic stand, and it was wonderful to meet so many interested visitors of every age.
The highlights?
With our OP simulator, visitors stepped into the shoes of surgeons and gained fascinating insights into our research.
Our autonomous delivery robot Innok wowed the crowd! Visitors could not only watch but also see live on a screen how it recognizes various objects like pedestrians, chairs, bottles and phones using YOLO software.
Our humanoid robot Nao brought a lot of fun! Visitors had conversations with him and could request him to sit, sing, or dance.
Our two driving simulators let visitors take the wheel! Plus, we showcased a real prototype of an automated vehicle that can communicate with pedestrians.
And let’s not forget the glimpse into our climate chamber for climate experiments that wrapped up the day!
A big thank you to everyone who visited us and to our amazing team who made this day possible! We’re excited to continue sharing our passion for ergonomics and technology!
