We have been to the IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV) in Jeju, South Korea!
Last week, our team had the incredible opportunity to attend the IEEE IV, where groundbreaking research and innovative ideas were on full display. We are thrilled to share that two of our members presented their latest work:
Maximilian Hübner delivered an insightful presentation in a workshop, focusing on "Pedestrian Groups Matter: Unraveling Their Impact on Pedestrian Crossings When Interacting with an Automated Vehicle." His research sheds light on the complexities of pedestrian behavior and its implications for the development of automated driving systems.
Dominik Janetzko presented his paper, "Artificial Haptic Cues As Assistance for Simplified Vehicle Operations in Advanced Air Mobility," during a poster session. His work explores how haptic feedback can assist pilots in the safe execution of flight maneuvers with eVTOL aircraft.
It was an enriching experience to connect with fellow researchers, exchange ideas, and contribute to the advancement of intelligent vehicle technologies. A big thank you to IEEE ITS Society for hosting such an inspiring event!
