In 2022, we were able to really clean up in the doctoral prizes. Three dissertations were awarded prestigious prizes. All three are endowed with € 5,000. On 1 July, the first Day of Engineering and Design #DayEDTUM (formerly Faculty Day), the three prize winners were presented with their awards in a ceremony.

With a strong participation of a total of 15 runners, utg was able to proudly assert itself at this year's campus run of the Junge Akademie at the GARNIX Festival at the Garching campus. Two teams were formed, so that both the 11 km lap to Dietersheim and the 5.5 km lap across the campus could be covered.
