Biography
Dominique Bohrmann works in the Research and Development Department at the Daimler Group since October 2017. In cooperation with the Institute of Ergonomics at the Technical University of Munich, Mr. Bohrmann investigates on the design and conception of highly automated vehicles. He graduated at the Trier University of Applied Sciences and the Clemson University in South Carolina, USA. During his work as a team leader at the Institute of Automotive Technology Trier, Mr. Bohrmann dealt with the ergonomic interior design of armored land vehicles at the German Bundeswehr. As part of his master's thesis, Mr. Bohrmann developed a test stand for the investigation of kinetogenic symptoms (kinetosis = motion sickness). In addition he defined guidelines for the interior design of highly automated vehicles, which were validated by real test driving with respect to the body dynamics of the passengers.
